hey, hi, hello!

i am renee gillaspia, the owner of fenske foto.

i had a camera in my hand as soon as i could. in middle school, i convinced my father to buy a disposable film camera for me and he would pay for rolls and rolls of film to be developed every week. most of the photos were hilariously awful (thank god for digital), but he would always do it without fail, simply because it made me happy.

i lost my father in 2010, but his name will live on through my photography forever. i hope this endeavor would have made him proud.

i continued my photography journey loosely throughout high school and college, but really starting honing my craft more recently as a passion project in addition to my tech sales career. i started this business in 2019 and am lucky to have met so many amazing clients and photographers along the way!

i'm in my element when i'm behind the camera and i love nothing more than capturing a moment between people that will elicit joy, happiness, elation and celebration for years to come. i believe that photography transports you back to a moment that may never exist again and allows you to feel those feelings time and time again.
